Proceeds from "Light the Fire" will benefit two of YCAP’s most vital services in Newberg and Dundee:
Youth Services - a community’s young people is one of its most valuable resources. Our Youth Outreach drop-In center, on First and Edwards in Newberg, provides a safe and nurturing place for 11-21 year olds to study, play, socialize, receive mentoring and case management from caring adults, take life skills and leadership training, get job guidance and internships, and access emergency shelter or our longer term Transitional Living Program.
Food Bank - Our regional Food Bank partners with several pantries and community meal sites in Newberg and Dundee, including FISH, Promise Pantry, Deskin Commons, Newberg Community Kitchen, and St. Peter’s. We also deliver food seasonally to Edwards Elementary students through our Friday Family Food program, and the Virginia Garcia Clinic.
