YCAP Response to Covid-19

YCAP is committed to serving clients safely and efficiently. As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, YCAP is coordinating with public health authorities, taking our cue from federal, state, and local officials well versed in epidemiology.  We rely on trusted government and medical websites for information in responding and will continue to base decisions on their recommendations.

While COVID-19 is low-risk for most people, the health and safety of our community is YCAP’s highest priority. At this time, YCAP has developed response plans and alternative ways to access services that incorporate best practices of social distancing, hygiene, and other protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.

 These plans include the following:

  • Heightened disinfectant procedures at all YCAP locations and in YCAP vehicles

  • Cancellation of in-person group meetings and activities at the YCAP main campus

  • Due to updated state and federal guidelines regarding COVID-19, the YO! Drop-in Center in Newberg is open at limited capacity. For those who would normally drop-in or for other Youth Services, please call ahead to check on availability on the new Main Line: (503) 472-0457 extension 1001. If you need immediate shelter, please call the toll free Safe Shelter Hotline (866) 538-8023.

  • Services are available on-line and by phone! Please access YCAP services through one of the following resources:

As the situation continues to evolve, YCAP will post additional updates on this page and on its Facebook Page located at https://www.facebook.com/YamhillCAP/

Thank you for your patience and trust as we navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety at the forefront of everything we do.
